    Description

    This was wrapped in a rag rolling around in the case of a Rockwell Porta Planer I snagged some years ago.  The wax is old and had split at some point along one cutting edge, but when I run my thumbnail across the edge, I don't feel any nicks.  It may be new or just newly resharpened and placed in wax.
    I am not sure whether it's carbide or ordinary steel.  I am leaning toward carbide, but I've taken the best pictures I can and will let the would-be buyers make that call for themselves.
