MICROVISOR® is a Mini Hood Extension for your “Microwave Over The Range” Cooking vent hoods are vital for capturing and exhausting the cooking odors, smoke, and grease from cooking. The MICROVISOR® is a mini hood that attaches to the underside of a “microwave over the range” and extends forward over the cook top for the purpose of capturing cooking by products. The MICROVISOR® compliments the appearance of the microwave and perfects the exhaust function of the microwave over the range. Installs in under 3 minutes, removable, and no electrical requirements.

The MICROVISOR® Removable Extension Hood Standard Size is designed to fit the standard 30-inch microwave over the range. The MICROVISOR® Removable Extension Hood is a patented, high-quality stainless-steel hood that mounts to a patented bracket on the front bottom edge of the microwave oven. MICROVISOR products improve exhaust performance of your microwave OTR, reduces onset smoke alarms capturing the smoke/grease/ odors/steam from mixing with the air in your home by funneling the cooking by products back into the exhaust system of your OTR unit.
The microwave over the range is 15 inches deep and cook-tops are a minimum of 26 deep, and it is virtually impossible to effectively exhaust the fumes from the front burners. The MICROVISOR® is 29 7/8 inches wide, 1 inch high at the front and 1 -½ inch high at the back. MICROVISOR projects forward of the microwave oven by 6 ½ inches. The MICROVISOR® installs in minutes, and once the bracket is installed, the hood can be inserted and simply removed by pulling it out. The MICROVISOR® is removable, easy to store, and does not require any electrical components or filters and will not block your OTR light or filter inlets. MICROVISOR can be taken from home to home or used on any new or old appliance from the last 20 years. Logo displayed is for advertising purposes, the unit does not ship with logo any longer.
