Original owner, this concert was my 7th birthday gift! (This was the year”Puppy Love” reaches #1!) My Dad took me to the concert, I was initially confused Because it was a place we Usually went to see baseball players! the concert began with Donny hang gliding into the stadium with purple smoke trailing behind him!! ( I later learned he used a stunt double,)

Los Angeles Times
(09/11/72) history was made by the Osmonds for being the first group to perform rock music at the stadium since 1970.  After a concert given by The Who in 1970, rock music was banned from the stadium. This was also a celebration of their 10th Anniversary in Entertainment.
